A première vue returns this summer and gives carte blanche to the galleries of Saint-Germain des Prés to exhibit in their windows the works of young artists graduated from the Beaux-Arts de Paris.

This 5th edition will take place from July 3 to August 31, 2025, at the initiative of the Beaux-Arts de Paris, the Jeudi des Beaux-Arts association, and the Professional Committee of Art Galleries (CPGA). The event aims to create an initial connection between young artists from the Beaux-Arts de Paris and the art galleries coexisting in the same district. Free and visible to all, day and night, At First Sight offers a discovery trail and a look at emerging creation: photography, drawing, painting, sculpture...

ADRIEN BESSON

Adrien Besson's work explores metamorphosis with chimerical, hybrid, and changing figures. He finds inspiration in observing nature, as with the Moths we are presenting, which are the very symbol of Panta Rhei, of all that is ephemeral and fleeting. Nothing is fixed or smoothed in the terracotta, which reveals the traces of the artist's work in the material.

OPENING RECEPTION

Thursday 2 July at 6 PM
Opening reception tour through a dozen galleries in Saint-Germain-des-Prés to discover works by young graduates of the Beaux-Arts de Paris exhibited in their windows.

Followed by a convivial moment at the Beaux-Arts de Paris with the presentation of the Jeudi des Beaux-Arts - CPGA Award, made possible with the support of Marin Beaux Arts.
