"MIRÓ. DRAWINGS, GOUACHES AND PASTELS"
This collection of original works on paper, initiated around ten years ago by Agnès Aittouares and Eric Martin, provides a chronological account of how the Catalan artist created a unique artistic universe, oscillating between dream and reality, the abstract and the figurative.
Joan Miró's entire oeuvre is imbued with writing, drawing, and poetry. Drawing is the root of his work, the starting point for his paintings and sculptures. It serves as the basis for his broadest artistic explorations. It is a means of expressing oneself in complete freedom, without rules or constraints. But above all, for Miró, it is an art form in its own right.
