New selection: Nocturne at the AB gallery — Modern art in Saint-Germain-des-Prés
Galerie AB is pleased to present a new exhibition on May 15 for the evening of Fine Arts Thursday, a new exhibition, bringing together a set of works by major artists of the 20th century.This selection brings into dialogue artists who have profoundly renewed the language of modernity: the gestural and informal abstraction of Marfaing or Miotte, where matter becomes an energy vector; the dreamlike and symbolic compositions of Chagall or Lam, marked by a cultural and spiritual memory; the research on volume, movement and balance carried out by Calder, caesar or Ghysels, between kinetic sculpture and organic forms.
