The work is created on the cardboard cover of the book Where Your Body Ends, a collection of poems by Fouad El-Etr illustrated by Sam Szafran and published by La Délirante. This book is the copy kept in Sam Szafran's personal collection, sold after his estate.

Our work consists of a pastel, an original watercolour depicting a staircase, nine watercolours on a background engraved by Sam Szafran and nine black engravings.
